About MaNGO
MaNGO (Macedonia NGO) Online is a web-based service of and
for all NGO's active in Macedonia.
In order to be of most assistance to the NGO community, the
service will be available in two languages, Macedonian and
English.
Goals
- To be a catalyst for increasing levels of
understanding of the value and use of the Internet among all
NGO's
- To promote, develop and assist NGO's in fulfilling
their organisational goals and vision
- To provide a
gateway for communication and cooperation between
organisations within Macedonia and for organisations and
foundations interested in Macedonia
- To provide much of
the simple yet essential information that will make working in
Macedonia that much easier
Services
By the end of the initial development period
MaNGO Online will provide the following services:
- Directory of Macedonian NGO's
- MaNGO Email Newsletter and
Bulletin for NGO's
- MaNGO Online News - articles on
projects and interviews with people throughout the NGO
community
- MaNGO Calendar, for events in the NGO
community
Once developed, any organisation will have the opportunity
to include any information on any activity that it feels will
be of interest and value to the NGO community.
Core Commitments
- MaNGO Online is and always will be an
open service that is professional, friendly, ethical,
accessible and responsive.
- MaNGO Online will provide
these services for all NGO's, big and small, regional and
national, Macedonian and International.
- MaNGO Online will
always remain open to the possibility of creating networks and
partnerships with other organisations that share our goals,
principles and vision.
Above all, MaNGO Online is a network of and for all NGO's
active in Macedonia
